Wholesale & OEM/ODM

10 questions about factory supply, customization, MOQ and project development.

Are you a stainless steel jewelry manufacturer or trading company?

Yleryler supports buyers as a China-based stainless steel jewelry manufacturer and OEM/ODM supplier. Our projects cover product evaluation, CAD development, sampling, polishing, PVD plating, logo application, assembly, quality inspection and export packaging. Production arrangements depend on the construction and process required for each design. We serve jewelry brands, wholesalers, importers, sourcing companies and private-label programs rather than retail checkout customers.

Do you offer wholesale stainless steel jewelry for brands and distributors?

Yes. We provide wholesale stainless steel jewelry for brands, distributors, importers and e-commerce sellers. Available programs can include stainless steel rings, bracelets, necklaces, chains, pendants and earrings. Buyers may select existing designs or develop exclusive styles with custom dimensions, finishes, plating colors, stones, logos and packaging. Quotations are prepared according to material grade, construction, quantity and quality requirements.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM stainless steel jewelry?

OEM production uses the buyer’s design, drawing or approved reference and manufactures it to an agreed specification. ODM development starts with a concept, target customer or style direction and turns it into a manufacturable product through design support, CAD, prototyping and sampling. Yleryler can support both OEM stainless steel jewelry and ODM jewelry development, including private-label branding and packaging.

Can you manufacture custom stainless steel jewelry from our design?

Yes. Custom stainless steel jewelry can be developed from sketches, CAD files, technical drawings, reference samples or clearly marked photos. We review size, thickness, material, surface finish, PVD color, stone setting, logo position and assembly method before sampling. Designs with uncertain dimensions may require a CAD confirmation stage. Intellectual-property-sensitive projects can be discussed under an NDA before detailed files are exchanged.

What is your minimum order quantity for wholesale jewelry?

Our standard starting point is commonly 300 pieces per model, but the final MOQ depends on material availability, mold requirements, plating batch, stone setting, size assortment and packaging. Existing designs may support more flexible quantities, while special 316L material purchases or complex custom constructions may require a higher MOQ. Send the model, quantity and specification for an accurate evaluation.

Can I order samples before bulk stainless steel jewelry production?

Yes. Sampling is recommended before every new custom or private-label project. A sample allows both parties to confirm dimensions, comfort, polishing, plating color, logo, stones, closures and packaging. Typical sample development is approximately 7–15 days after technical details and payment are confirmed, although molds, complex stone settings or multiple revisions can extend the schedule.

How long does bulk jewelry production take?

Typical production is around 25–35 days after sample approval. The schedule varies by order quantity, material, casting or machining method, polishing standard, PVD plating, stone setting, logo process and packaging. We confirm the estimated production lead time before the order is finalized and recommend allowing additional time for testing, inspection and international transportation.

Do you provide private-label logos and custom jewelry packaging?

Yes. Private-label options can include laser engraving, stamped logos, branded tags, backing cards, pouches, jewelry boxes, inserts, labels and export cartons. The correct branding method depends on the product surface and logo detail. Packaging MOQ may differ from the jewelry MOQ, so packaging specifications should be confirmed early to avoid affecting the delivery schedule.

How do I request an accurate stainless steel jewelry quotation?

Please provide the product photo or drawing, required material, dimensions, quantity, plating color, stone specification, logo method, packaging and destination country. For rings, include the size breakdown; for chains and bracelets, include length and width. A complete specification helps us calculate tooling, material, labor, plating, testing and packaging accurately and reduces revisions later.

Can you supply wholesale stainless steel jewelry internationally?

Yes. We support international B2B orders and can prepare commercial invoices, packing lists and export packaging. Shipping options may include express courier, air freight, sea freight or buyer-nominated forwarders. The best method depends on shipment weight, volume, urgency and destination. Duties, taxes and local compliance obligations should be confirmed before shipping terms are agreed.

02

Materials & Quality

8 questions covering 304, 316L, surgical steel, sensitivity and testing.

What stainless steel grades are used for jewelry?

304 and 316L stainless steel are commonly used for jewelry, depending on design, price target and market requirement. Both provide useful strength and corrosion resistance. 316L generally offers stronger corrosion resistance and is widely specified for higher-end jewelry and some body-contact applications. The material grade should be written into the approved specification and verified when certification is required.

What is the difference between 304 and 316L stainless steel jewelry?

304 stainless steel is widely available, durable and suitable for many fashion-jewelry constructions. 316L contains molybdenum and normally provides improved resistance to corrosion, especially in demanding environments. However, final jewelry performance also depends on polishing, welding, plating, assembly and care. We recommend choosing the grade according to product use, destination-market requirements and target cost—not relying on the grade name alone.

Is 316L stainless steel the same as surgical steel?

The phrase surgical steel is used broadly in jewelry marketing and is not always a precise material certificate. 316L is a defined low-carbon stainless steel grade, but a product should not be assumed to meet a medical or surgical standard only because it is described as surgical steel. Professional buyers should request the exact alloy specification and, where necessary, third-party material or chemical testing.

Is stainless steel jewelry hypoallergenic?

Many people tolerate well-made stainless steel jewelry, particularly when an appropriate alloy and surface process are used. However, “hypoallergenic” is not an absolute guarantee because individual sensitivity varies and stainless steel alloys can contain nickel. For sensitive-skin markets, buyers should specify 316L where appropriate and arrange nickel-release or applicable compliance testing on the finished product.

Does stainless steel jewelry contain nickel?

Many stainless steel grades contain nickel as part of the alloy because it supports corrosion resistance and material stability. The relevant consumer-safety issue is often nickel release from the finished jewelry rather than simply whether nickel exists in the alloy. For EU-focused projects, EN 1811 nickel-release testing may be arranged according to the product type and agreed compliance program.

Can your stainless steel jewelry support REACH and nickel-release testing?

Testing support can be arranged for agreed products and markets, including requirements associated with EU REACH, nickel release, lead and cadmium. Test scope must match the exact finished sample, material, plating and product construction. Existing reports can provide background information, but buyers requiring SKU-specific compliance should budget for new third-party testing on approved production-equivalent samples.

How do you control stainless steel jewelry quality?

Quality control begins with an approved specification and sample. Inspections can cover dimensions, weight, sharp edges, polishing, welding, stone security, plating appearance, logo position, closure function, quantity and packaging. Critical appearance limits should be defined before production. For custom projects, sample approval and production-equivalent reference standards are essential for consistent bulk inspection.

Can you provide material certificates or SGS test reports?

Material certificates and third-party reports may be available or arranged depending on the material and project. A general supplier document is not always equivalent to a test on the finished SKU. If your market requires an SGS report for 316L composition, REACH, nickel release, lead or cadmium, tell us before sampling so the correct sample quantity, laboratory scope, cost and timing can be planned.

03

Plating, Durability & Care

8 questions about PVD colors, waterproof claims, tarnish and maintenance.

What is PVD plating on stainless steel jewelry?

PVD, or physical vapor deposition, applies a thin decorative coating in a vacuum process. It is commonly used for gold, rose gold, black, champagne and gunmetal stainless steel jewelry. PVD generally offers better adhesion and wear performance than many conventional decorative coatings, but durability still depends on surface preparation, coating specification, product friction, chemicals, wear habits and quality control.

Can you produce 14K or 18K gold-plated stainless steel jewelry?

Yes. We can develop 14K- or 18K-tone PVD stainless steel jewelry based on an approved color sample. “14K” and “18K” in this context usually describe the target gold tone unless a specific real-gold coating composition is contractually defined. Buyers should approve color under consistent lighting and specify whether color matching, coating thickness or XRF verification is required.

How thick is the PVD coating on stainless steel jewelry?

PVD coating thickness varies according to the process, color target, performance requirement and supplier capability. A thicker coating is not automatically better if adhesion, stress and surface preparation are poorly controlled. Buyers needing a defined thickness should state the target in microns before quotation and request an appropriate measurement method, such as XRF where technically suitable.

Is stainless steel jewelry waterproof?

The stainless steel base has good resistance to water and corrosion, so the phrase waterproof stainless steel jewelry is widely searched. Nevertheless, finished jewelry may include PVD coatings, stones, adhesives, enamel, springs or mixed materials with different limitations. We recommend describing products as water resistant only when the complete finished construction and intended care conditions support that claim.

Does stainless steel jewelry tarnish, rust or turn green?

Quality stainless steel normally resists tarnish and rust better than many base metals. Green discoloration is less common with a stainless steel base, but surface contamination, chemicals, damaged plating or non-stainless components can affect performance. Chlorine, strong cleaners, saltwater residue, cosmetics and prolonged moisture can shorten the life of plated jewelry, so sensible care instructions remain important.

How long does gold PVD color last?

There is no responsible universal lifetime because color retention depends on coating specification, product shape, friction, skin chemistry, sweat, chemicals and wear frequency. Rings and bracelet edges usually experience more abrasion than pendants or earrings. For a durability target, define the intended use, coating requirement and test method before production rather than relying on an unsupported “never fade” promise.

How should stainless steel jewelry be cleaned?

Use a soft lint-free cloth and mild diluted soap when necessary, then rinse carefully and dry completely. Avoid abrasive polishing compounds on plated surfaces, chlorine, bleach, strong acids and prolonged contact with perfumes or household chemicals. Store pieces separately to reduce scratching. Customized care cards can be prepared for private-label packaging based on the exact finish and construction.

Can you match a custom plating color or surface finish?

Yes. We can evaluate polished, brushed, matte, sandblasted and custom PVD finishes, including silver, gold, rose gold, black, champagne and gunmetal. Digital photos are useful for direction but cannot guarantee precise color because screens and lighting vary. A physical color reference or approved master sample provides a more reliable standard for bulk production.

04

Stainless Steel Rings

6 questions covering men’s rings, wedding bands, sizing and customization.

Do you manufacture wholesale stainless steel rings for men and women?

Yes. Our wholesale stainless steel ring programs can include men’s rings, women’s rings, wedding bands, signet rings, spinner rings, statement rings and custom styles. Options include 304 or 316L material, polished or brushed surfaces, black and gold PVD, carbon-fiber or enamel details, stones, engraving and private-label packaging.

Are stainless steel rings suitable for wedding bands?

Stainless steel wedding bands are valued for strength, modern appearance and accessible pricing. They work especially well for polished, brushed, black, two-tone and spinner constructions. Unlike precious metals, stainless steel can be difficult to resize after production, so accurate ring sizing and clear size assortments are essential before a wholesale order is placed.

Can you make custom engraved stainless steel rings?

Yes. Custom stainless steel rings can include inside or outside laser engraving, logos, names, dates, patterns and serial numbers. Engraving readability depends on ring width, curvature, coating and logo complexity. Vector artwork is preferred. For plated rings, the sequence of engraving and plating must be selected according to the desired final appearance.

What ring sizes can be produced in bulk?

Available sizes depend on the ring design and tooling. Common US, UK and EU sizing systems can be supported, but the buyer should provide one consistent size standard and an exact quantity breakdown. Very small or large sizes may require additional tooling or construction adjustments. We confirm sample size and bulk tolerances before production.

Can stainless steel rings be made with stones, enamel or carbon fiber?

Yes. Depending on the design, stainless steel rings may use cubic zirconia, synthetic stones, enamel, shell, wood-look elements or carbon-fiber inlays. The setting and adhesive method must match the expected use. Samples should be checked for stone security, gaps, surface level, color consistency and resistance to normal handling before bulk approval.

How do you inspect stainless steel rings before shipment?

Ring inspection may cover size, width, thickness, weight, roundness, edges, polishing, plating, inlay alignment, stone security, engraving and packaging. Spinner rings are also checked for movement and noise expectations. Agreed tolerances and appearance standards should be established from the approved sample so bulk inspection is objective.

05

Stainless Steel Bracelets

5 questions about Cuban links, bangles, cuffs, length and logo options.

Do you supply wholesale stainless steel bracelets and bangles?

Yes. We supply wholesale stainless steel bracelets, men’s chain bracelets, Cuban link bracelets, bangles, cuffs, charm bracelets and custom private-label styles. Designs can be evaluated in 304 or 316L stainless steel with polished, brushed, silver, gold, rose gold, black or two-tone finishes.

Can you manufacture men’s stainless steel Cuban link bracelets?

Yes. Men’s stainless steel Cuban link bracelets can be customized by link width, thickness, length, weight, clasp structure, surface finish and PVD color. We recommend approving both appearance and wearing comfort because link articulation, edge polishing and clasp security affect perceived quality as much as the visual design.

What bracelet lengths and widths are available?

Bracelet length and width can be adjusted according to the design and target customer. Buyers should specify the total length, wearable inner circumference, extension chain if any, width and quantity by size. For rigid bangles and cuffs, inner diameter and opening dimensions are more important than flat length. Custom sizes should be verified with samples.

Can stainless steel bracelets include custom logos and charms?

Yes. Logos can be laser engraved on clasps, plates, tags or selected links. Custom charms may be developed from artwork or CAD, subject to minimum dimensions and production feasibility. Logo placement should avoid high-friction areas where it may become difficult to read, and charm attachment points should be checked for strength.

How do you test bracelet clasps and link strength?

Bracelet QC can include repeated opening and closing, visual inspection, pull checks, link articulation, solder or weld inspection and sharp-edge control. The appropriate test depends on the clasp and construction. For heavy chain bracelets, the end links and clasp connection deserve particular attention because they carry most of the load during wear.

06

Necklaces, Chains & Pendants

6 questions about wholesale chains, pendants, cross necklaces and sizing.

Do you manufacture wholesale stainless steel necklaces and chains?

Yes. We support wholesale stainless steel necklaces, chains and pendant programs for brands and distributors. Styles may include curb, Cuban, rope-look, box, snake, wheat and other chain constructions, subject to production availability. Material, length, width, clasp, finish, logo and packaging are confirmed for each project.

Can you make custom stainless steel pendants and name necklaces?

Yes. Custom stainless steel pendants and name necklaces can be developed from vector artwork, sketches or CAD files. We evaluate overall size, thickness, cutouts, edge radius, chain connection, engraving, stones, enamel and PVD plating. Fine lettering and narrow connections may require design adjustments to maintain strength and clean polishing.

Do you produce stainless steel cross necklaces and pendants?

Yes. Stainless steel cross necklaces, crucifix pendants and men’s cross chains can be produced in different sizes, finishes and plating colors. Options may include polished, brushed, black PVD, gold PVD, two-tone surfaces, engraving and stone details. Custom religious designs should be supplied with clear artwork and dimensional requirements.

What necklace chain lengths and widths can be customized?

Necklace lengths and chain widths can be selected according to style, weight and target customer. Common dimensions are possible, but each chain construction has practical limits. Buyers should state total length, extension length, width, clasp type and pendant compatibility. Heavy pendants require a sufficiently strong chain, jump ring and bail.

Can stainless steel chains be supplied in bulk for jewelry production?

Bulk stainless steel chain may be supplied as finished necklaces, cut lengths or continuous chain depending on style and availability. Please specify chain pattern, wire or link dimensions, width, finish, plating, required length and whether clasps or end components are included. Continuous-chain and finished-chain MOQs may differ.

How do you ensure pendants and chains are compatible?

We check the pendant bail or jump-ring opening against the chain’s widest component, including end caps and clasp. We also consider pendant weight, chain strength, movement and hanging orientation. The complete necklace should be assembled and approved as a sample, because a chain that fits visually may still fail to pass through the bail or balance correctly.

07

Stainless Steel Earrings

5 questions covering studs, hoops, sensitive ears, posts and PVD finishes.

Do you manufacture wholesale stainless steel earrings?

Yes. Our wholesale stainless steel earrings can include stud earrings, hoop earrings, huggies, drop earrings and custom branded designs. Options depend on the construction and may include 316L stainless steel, polished silver color, gold or black PVD, cubic zirconia, enamel, engraving and private-label cards or boxes.

Are 316L stainless steel earrings suitable for sensitive ears?

316L stainless steel earrings are often selected for sensitive-ear product lines because of their corrosion resistance and stable surface. However, individual allergies vary, and no material should be described as universally allergy-free without evidence. Buyers targeting sensitive ears should define the complete material and plating specification and consider nickel-release testing on finished earrings.

Can you make stainless steel stud and hoop earrings?

Yes. Stainless steel stud earrings and hoop earrings can be produced in various diameters, widths, shapes and finishes. Stud projects require confirmation of post length, post diameter, backing type and solder quality. Hoop projects require evaluation of hinge movement, closure alignment, wearing comfort and repeated opening performance.

Are earring posts and backs also made from stainless steel?

They can be, but this must be confirmed in the product specification because some designs use mixed components. For a stainless steel earring program, buyers should specify the required material for the decorative body, post, hinge, pin and backing separately. Finished-product testing is more reliable than assuming every small component uses the same alloy.

Can stainless steel earrings have gold PVD plating and stones?

Yes. Stainless steel earrings can use gold-tone PVD, rose gold, black or custom finishes together with cubic zirconia, enamel and other decorative details. The process order must protect posts, hinges and stone settings. Samples are checked for plating color, stone security, closure function, solder marks, sharp edges and left-right pair consistency.
